Manufacturing & Sourcing Process
AASA’s process, whether new product development, or looking to optimize an existing product chain with redundancy, streamlined logistics, and/or improved pricing, product quality or lead times, involves first getting to know you!
This will allow our staff to come up with the best sourcing and manufacturing strategy possible based on your requirements.
We reduce any risk in overseas manufacturing on two major fronts:
Timeline & Quality.
AASA does this by finding the perfect factory for your product requirements. We then manage your factory on a day-to-day basis, and finally provide several inspections on each order.
We will do our research and identify which country will be best for your products in China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and more... Then together we will decide the most efficient place to produce your products.
(AASA) will evaluate at least 3 to 4 potential factories that can produce your products. Then provide quotes from multiple factories ensure you receive competitive pricing, while advising on capabilities and logistics.
AASA will provide you with a full factory audit and will re-evaluate reports on the factories we selected for you. Together with you, we will choose which factory to go forward with based on cost, factory abilities, logistics and reputation.
The factory will then provide a sample of your product, based on your drawings or prototype - which AASA has on-staff engineers & designers to assist with if needed.
Finally starting mass production once your completely satisfied with the factory first article sample.
Once mass production is started, we provide multiple inspections from our staff and your product manager, finally hiring a third party inspection company to re-evaluate the finished product. This is a full day inspection.
We will share with you the full extent of the inspection report. The decision to ship the product or not to ship product will be based on this detailed inspection report.
If production needs some tweaking before shipping, the factory will correct your product, and we will re-inspect it with the same guidelines and attention to detail as before.
AASA will then offer our guidance and attention to detail to choosing a freight forwarding company, or you may use your own, to ship your product from our Asia factory right to your door.
The transit time is usually 45-60 days.
AASA will handle all the paperwork to make sure there is a smooth transfer of goods from Asia to the USA.
This includes export and import documents along with duties classification and government taxes.
You will be receiving your order at your doorstep. At that time, we will be congratulating our customer for completion of their order and will be looking forward for doing future sourcing with them. Always forward-looking for optimization, cost savings and reduced timeline.
